How do I confirm a battery is compatible with my Dyson vacuum model?

The fastest method is to match your Dyson model series (V6, V7, V8, V10, V11, or V15) to our SKU naming convention — DSV6 fits V6 series, DSV8 fits V8 series, DS-V15 fits V15 Detect, and so on. Each Dyson vacuum has a series identifier (SV03–SV22) printed on the housing or in the user manual.

How are these batteries tested against original Dyson packs?

Every SKU passes our 8-stage testing protocol: incoming cell inspection, cell matching, spot welding QC, BMS programming and handshake validation, side-by-side capacity testing against the OEM Dyson pack, 48-hour aging, end-of-line functional test, and final compliance documentation.

Replacement packs must deliver ≥100% rated capacity, pass handshake with OEM chargers, and demonstrate equal or longer runtime on the original Dyson vacuum compared to the genuine battery.

What certifications do the batteries carry?

All Dyson replacement batteries ship with the following certifications:

UN38.3 — Transport safety for air, sea, and ground shipping. IEC 62133 — International battery safety standard. CE — EU market conformity (Declaration of Conformity provided). MSDS — Material Safety Data Sheet for hazmat shipping. Additional certifications (UL, KC, PSE, FCC) available on request for specific market entry.

What is the production lead time?

Samples: 7–10 days from order confirmation. Catalog SKU production runs: 20–30 days after 30% deposit is received, depending on quantity and current factory loading. Custom OEM/ODM projects: 14–21 days for prototype, then 30–45 days for mass production after design freeze.

How are batteries shipped internationally?

Lithium-ion batteries are classified as Class 9 dangerous goods, so all shipments use DG-compliant freight forwarders. Air freight is available for samples and small orders (5–10 days transit). Sea freight is standard for production orders (25–35 days to most destinations), more cost-effective for full-carton volumes.

We provide complete shipping documentation including UN38.3 test report, MSDS, and Dangerous Goods Declaration. EXW, FOB, CIF, and DDP terms all supported.

What is your warranty policy?

All Dyson replacement batteries carry a 12-month warranty from the date of shipment against manufacturing defects, premature capacity loss, and BMS failures. Defective units are replaced 1-for-1; defect rate guaranteed below 0.5% per shipment.

For OEM/ODM partners, extended warranty terms (18 or 24 months) are available on negotiation. We provide root-cause analysis reports for any field failures.

Can you customize the cell type or capacity?

Yes. For each SKU we support multiple cell options: 18650 cells (lower cost, mature supply chain) or 21700 cells (higher energy density, longer runtime). Capacity range typically 2.0Ah to 4.0Ah depending on cell selection and pack configuration.

Custom requests like high-discharge cells for power-hungry models, low-temperature performance cells, or specific cell brands (LG, Samsung, Murata, BAK) can be quoted on a per-project basis.

What payment terms do you accept?

Standard terms: 30% T/T deposit on order confirmation, 70% balance against B/L copy before shipment. Accepted methods: T/T bank transfer (USD / EUR / RMB), L/C at sight for orders above USD 30,000, Western Union for small samples.

For repeat customers and OEM partners, open account terms (NET 30) can be negotiated after credit verification. PayPal accepted for sample orders under USD 1,000.
